Thread: How do I look to Google

Hi Folks

wanted to get any ideas you might have about how to get this site looking better in the eyes of google.

Are my metatags, keywords and descriptions ok

How would I improve the way content is laid out to appeal more to search engines

Any other ideas on improving rank.

As a note, to the best of my knowledge this site is unique in that it has as a term of use that sellers must operate to a code of practice. Also it profiles the sellers which I do not think any other site does.

SO how do I get the message out.

I am offering all services on the site free but hope at some stage to sell banner advertising on the site.

www.irishhorsemarkets.com Have updated the site again with SEO in mind, just need some opinion. I have used certain phrases a lot but not deliberately. Will google view this as spamming.

Not sure why you are adding the hyphen to your key words?.
Many of your key phrases are not on the page.
Should be using words more like Horse sale Ireland, unless you know that visitors are gong to enter Irishhorsemarkets as a search.
Not worth using images with text as the SE's cant read it. But adding alt tags might help.

I think you need more content in your landing page. Tell people about you, what you have to offer,etc..
