Thread: google sitemap generator ...please help

I've been reading and working for hours and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have read so much of the forum and watched AND followed the tutorial for the sitemap generator for google to index my site.

I have followed everything but can't get varified.
The file is in my control panel after I used the generator but I don't know what to do next.
I signed up with google.
my site is www.springhillpumpkinpatch.com.
I don't even know if I've explained my problems correctly.
I can't get varified and.....
Do I need to fill in discriptive words on each of my pages under the page properties>meta tags.

uggggh! I'm confusing myself.

The link to your sitemap for google to verify is:

http://www.springhillpumpkinpatch.com/sitemap.xml

Thats all you need to give them.

If you are trying to verify with a meta tag.. right click on the page.. page html and between head tags type in the info they give you. IE:

<meta name="verify-v1" content="iBsB+6zypcg+JoNIJoLOgihX2LDc/7PKHARyALLczB0=" />

this is different than adding to the page properties meta tags..do it in the page html as explained above.
