Will I lose my rank on google if I add some pictures and republish the pages again ? I'm ranked at the top in my local searches. Thanks

No. Most likely you may contribute to newer, higher values by maintaining consistent site evolution and upgrading (dynamic site evolution). Be sure to assign each new picture a tile that is truly worthy and relevant to each page it is placed (use titles that use the same Keywords or phrases that are anchored on the page).

You should also be sure to update simple META at least once a month to remain current (relevant) to the trends and shifting preferences.
