    Default Backlinks

Hello, I have been reading the recent s.e.o backlinking tutorials and have recently created a second website. These are both of my websites.

    www.tncrecycling.com
    www.brisbanecarbodyrecycle.com.au

The question I have has got to do with my trying to keep my backlinks (one way) as opposed to (reciprical) as I understand that is the better method.

So I have a link from TNC to Brisbane car body (BCBR), I then have a link from BCBR to an external website "Planet Ark" http://businessrecycling.com.au/business/13229 which is a page containing a listing and a link to TNC. Thus in my mind creating a triangle of one way links. Have I got the right idea here?

One more scenario that I am thinking of, (can I go aroundabouts way of linking Planet Ark from TNC keeping with the one way theme) The method I am contemplating is:-
Using a Planet Ark logo on TNC, I will link to a BCBR page which will then redirect in a few seconds to the Planet Ark page. would the Planet Ark link http://businessrecycling.com.au/business/13229 then still be classified by Google as one way? (or is Google smarter than that and will it figure it out and penalise me on it)

    Thank you Tim Lowe

Just a small detail I would also like to add:- The BCBR redirection page will be in the TNC format similar to this one http://www.tncrecycling.com/vehicleremoval.html but will actually be published on BCBR.

Well, I read another forum just now http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/goo...nks-sites.html
and it appears I may be completely off track, although I would like a bit of advice as just how far wrong I am and if there is anything I can do along those lines.

Yes ... AJ is quite off-base, and the thread you referenced does in fact demonstrate the practice you describe and are attempting implement is in fact a combination of Black Hat "Sybil Attack" and "Interlinking".... you can read more in my PDF available in this thread.

So would it be wise for me to remove "All" of the links between my sites or can I still have TNC linking to BCBR (if I was to leave it as it is would that be a bad move?)

Also are links from buisness directories advantagious to my site?

    1. Having a single link site-to-site is not all that harmful, if it is on an interior page and the link is part of the relevancy/context of the specific page's content (and not simply be a link for the sake of providing a link).

    2. You need not seek to add as many links to your site from as many sources as possible to elevate your "standing" or "Net Relevancy" values ... this too, is a Black Hat method, as each inbound link needs to be from a truly relevant, complimentary site that has contributory PR of it's own, and most Directories, Link Farms, Blogs, and other readily accessible sites do not.

There are no short-cuts ... this is why link exchange and link placement (even as part of Articles) is such a carefully developed method and integrated into a professional SEO Strategy: it takes time, a great deal of effort, and is critcally watched by the SE's to make sure compliance with standards are maintained.
