Default site with two languages

hello
i wanted to know if my site has an option for the user to change the language of the pages ( english / portuguese).

what would be the best way to submit it in google ?

i mean only in google.com ? or .com.br also

is google readt the content and if it finds another laguage it automaticly conects to the .com.br

site name - shourt discription

how can i add it also

Hi, it will take some time, but just make 2 sites. Each page is an individual item, so Google should list it as per content & language.
make the main public_html the main site & create another folder for the second language. This is also the same for your home computer.

I personally added a meta in my HTML box

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Language" CONTENT="EN"> for the English Content
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Language" CONTENT="FR"> for the French Content

In addition, I modified the sitemap to include both the English and French pages and informed Google Webmaster Tool.

Thirdly I added a French and English hyperlink on every page... That did help
