Default Sitemap Generator - Number of levels crawled

I am using the Sitemap generator under Tools with BV 10.1.

When I crawl my site I only get pages about 2 levels deep. I have some pages that are "deeper" than that which are not found. How can I have these pages found?

I have reviewed the tutorial video, but it really doesn't deal with the issue of lower level pages.

Should I place a navagation to these pages on a higher level page? Can this be done without making it visible? I would rather not confuse my higher level pages with links to all the lower level pages, but I would like Google etc. to find them and include them in their searches.

When I generate a Sitemap starting at one of the lower level pages I actually get more pages identified, but still not all my pages.

I have tried www.xml-sitemap.com and it basically finds the same pages as BV.

Thanks

Hi there,

Q. How can I have these pages found?
A. I suggest You may click on the add button and include them manually. Then publish the site map.

Once you have included all your pages and published the sitemap, you may open a Webmaster Account with Google here
When you log in, you may add your sitemap, and Google will go tag all your pages eventually and inform you if there are errors.

Good luck

my domain www.hvbandb.co.uk

I have just done the sitemap thing and the html script that I have added to my index page (within an html box) is visible. How do I get rid of this?

Can you be more specific when you say "the html script that I have added to my index page (within an html box) is visible." What do you mean exactly?

I don't see anything wrong with your home page
