Hi I have just noticed an error message '404' (text file not found) in my google webmaster tools 'Analyse robots.txt'. This probably sounds silly but is this file uploaded automatically by bluevoda or is it something I need to do myself. If so, any guidelines please? Thanks in advance Jackie |

just open notepad leave it blank name it robot.txt and save upload the robots.txt to your website using your ftp in bv then your robot.txt file won't be missing anymore... Note: a blank robot.txt file allows all the bots to index all your pages. __________________ |

Hi David I created a robot.txt file in Wordpad. That was easy!! You said "upload the robots.txt to your website using your ftp in bv" Any chance of a simple step by step rundown on how that is done? I haven't been into control panel much. Thanks John |
