Default After switching domain to BV, Google dropped me off their index

Please help. www.darylperkins.com.

After about 3 days of publishing my new site, Google dropped me out of their index. I also don't show up on yahoo. I previously had a ssimple starter page with *******, no content. If "daryl perkins" was searched I showed up at the top of the search results. Google analytics now says, "No pages from your site are currently included in Google's index. Indexing can take time. You may find it helpful to review our information for webmasters and webmaster guidelines."

It's been a couple of weeks now. I realize I have a couple of links not working, I'm still building those pages.

Thanks in advance for your help

Daryl Perkins

All search Engines are looking for Content, Content, and more content.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but that does not apply to google and the rest.

They will come back, so you need to get some textual content on your site.

p.s. I like that plane................

Anytime you make a major change to your site, it will take time for the SE to catch up. This includes switching hosts and ips. You will find that you will have BETTER results once the change sets in.

Thanks David,

I understand about content. I have a few other sites that do just fine. This is my first BV and Vodahost site. I have never had a site that when you search directly for the name of the site, it doesn't come up. My thoughts are that there is something more wrong than just lack of content.

My last page was literally just that, an image. No content, just a starter page. You typed in my name, it was number 1. And that was pretty much instantly after publishing to the web.

I've given it more than 2 weeks. Thoughts???

The only thing people will type in when looking for my products or my page is my name. That's why the simple darylperkins.com url.

The something MORE is that you have MOVED the site from its original location, so its the same as a NEW SITE. you are pretty much BASICALLY STARTING OVER. With NO LINKS and NO CONTENT it will take longer than a week or two to find it and REINDEX it.

Thanks Karen,

No need to yell... I'm listening.

Ok, on a different note, but in an effort to help this situation, how do I generate (through Blue Voda) and submit a sitemap to google?

Thanks David, that's kinda funny...

I've done that, started the crawler, got the results, "published the sitemap." My question is more related to how I submit a sitemap to google analytics. I'll play with it some more, and get back to you.
