I have searched the forum, and visited phpbb website but I am Still lost when it comes to removing the PhpBB logo and replacing it with my own logo... would also like to be pointed in the direction that would explain how to add my own banners... I have a test Forum already up and running and I managed to manipulate colors is there any one who can provide a link explaing the modification of headers and logos

Right click your logo and go to Properties to determine where it is and what it's named. In your case, your logo is in your forum/templates/subsilver/images folder and is named logo_phpBB.gif. Simply create or rename an image with this name and ftp it into the subsilver/images folder and it will replace the default phpBB logo.

I completely understand but when I view my Ftp I do not see my forum folder... for whatever reason some files show sometimes and at other times they fail to show for example I created a sub folder of americuz, and until I began to add files this subfolder failed to show when I was connected to ftp... so in this case I suppose that I am looking for a subfolder named forum in the public html section of ftp? I completely understand your directions on how to add/modify logo, just my forum folder seems to be missing in action...Obviously I did create it - I do have a Test forum up and running: http://lost-angelz.com/forum/index.php

Exactly right, it's in public_html/forum. You might want to try with a different ftp manager and see what you get. You can also change the file by going to your Cpanel > File Manager and navigating to the subsilver/images folder and upload the new file there, remembering to put a check in the box to allow overwriting.

But that's just a temporary fix - you need a solution to that ftp thing or it's going to be murder making any big changes to the forum.

well i have followed directions and I see what you mean by uploading thru c-panel will be murder...I have uploaded but Logo is still that of generic phpBB instead of mines...here is where i have uploaded file:

I have no Idea whats going on with that...Yes I will need to find an alternative FTP, again thanks... been trying to figure out the logo thing for like 5 hours off and on..finally decided to break down and request help. Thanks for the help
