Default Changing an image from one to another

I am wondering if anyone knows if this would be possible to do.

I have an image, a logo of a company on just about every page of my site. Their logo has now changed, so I have to change it on every page of my site. So ...

I am wondering, if I rename this logo the exact name of the image that is already inserted on all the pages, and I go to ftp publisher to put this image in there, I am assuming I may get a pop up that will tell me, you already have an image named that, do you want to replace it. And if I answer yes, do you think this image would just change automatically on all the pages by itself? Of course, I would have to make it the same size and everything .... do you suppose this would work??

Has anyone every tried this shortcut? Trick?

Or do I have to do it one by one on each page?

Hi LadyEye!

Yeppers, that should work perfectly! Good thinking!

Hi Amanda

It worked, it worked, was tricky trying to get it the right size without distortion because the size of the logos, one was wide and one was tall, it' not all that great, but the theory worked, and I will live with it until another time .....

thanks again .....
