I would like to create a slide show of pictures and some video in power point, then link it to my website. I would like for anyone even if they don't have powerpoint to see it. I figured out how in powerpoint to save it so anyone can see it, but I don't know how to insert it into my webite for someone to click on and be able to see. Please help. Thanks. Jojo |

If you are using Blue Voda, you will find a feature called the "Ad Banner Rotator" which will function as a mimic to PowerPoint's slide show. You merely load the static images you desire and the feature will rotate your images accordingly.

I am already using that feature on my home page, but didn't want to create a whole new page just to show my powerpoint presentation. Is there a way to just put a link to a powerpoint presentation?

go to "search" at the top of page and type in "power point" there have been several threads about it. I put my presentation into an I-frame - the presentation had to be saved as .pps and uploaded into my FTP manager then i just named my page witht the Iframe and published it when people go to that page they are asked it they want to OPEN or SAVE the presentation - they only have to OPEN it to see it ann |

I have tried the option of using an IFrame however when published it tells me it cant find the page - probably just finger problems in directing it to the correct path - Your advice would be most welcome. Alternatively there might be another option. By the way the preveiw browser options allows it to work - wierd isnt it

I have set up the Iframe and this is the message I get: <IFRAME name="saga" src="./saga.pps" frameborder="1">Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames.</IFRAME> I would appreciate it if someone could advise me how to get this to work. Regards Rob |

When I try insert IFrame -the following message appears on checking the properties: Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames. Probably causing my problem of not being able to run the power point slide show. How do I resolve this problem? |

Is that just in preview mode or does it show that when you actually go to the internet to view the page?

I've seen that message before just in the preview mode ... so if you publish your page and view it via internet it perhaps will not be there ... I would try that .....

that message usually does not mean anything - just complete what you were trying to do publish it and check it - you can always change it ann |

Thanks for all your repsonses. I have continued but to no avail. I must be doing something that is so elementary - its rather frustrating. So much presentation in my site depends on this method. One tries to think out the box but comes back to the same point. I will soldier on Regards Rob |

I have tried Vasili's method which works but one losses a lot of quality. If I could improve the quality then this is maybe the quicker alternative. Regards Rob |

Hi folks - me again, I have eventually got the browser to accpet the I frame option and from that have managed to use preveiw browser to see the desired result of my power point file. However once I publish the file I dont have the same fortune and it tells me the pagfe cant be found. Perhaps, just perhaps everything is fine and it is just that my powerpoint file is not loaded correctly to a certain "library" to make it visible to the net. My mind has run dry of ideas and any new thougths would be most welcome Regards Rob |
