Hi,

This is in case folks don't know about this site:

Photos on this site are in the "public domain" (no duh!) and can be used for personal and commercial endeavors and there's no subscription nor registration required.

Variety IS limited, but quality tends to be good.

Another site i use often is http://www.sxc.hu/ the size and quality of the 1000's of pictures is excellent.

Absolute stunning photos on this site, and several different resolutions to save in each image, they are free to use for desktop, so not sure about anywhere else ... but awesome, awesome photos ...

You are right, these are free for personal use, but are copywrited, so if you want to use them for commercial use you have to email the guy, John, whose site it is. He is a great guy, a great photographer.
