Thread: Making Real Player play on all pages

Could someone be able to tell me how I can put a realplayer or Windows media player on my site so that if selected will play even if a different page is selected?

I personally dont know of a way to do that, unless you actually have them DOWNLOAD and play it in the background. I think you have to embed it or the plugin on each page.

You could use a iframe on your index page, load the video,links,menus and other info outside of the iframe then have all your pages load inside the iframe. a bit like this but putting a video screen in the header or were you want. http://www.angies-cyberscripts.org/download_page.html

This is a site that uses the idea though they are using a media player. but the links open in a iframe. http://www.elomusic.com/

no you dont need an i frame just create a popup window like this **** http://www.thatgoodsite.com/music.html you can have it in a pop up while you veiw the rest of the site

insert this into your page url #" onClick="window.open('http://www.yoursite.com/changethistothepageyouaregoingtouse.html', '','width=400,height=400'); return false;"
also change the height and width to what you need the pop up to be
so you must create a page with the player and vid in it the publish it then have a link onj your main site with that code above in the link url section

Hey AllStarFaces... I'm Trying to use the html you have given here... but where do I insert it...you say, "insert into page url"...where's that and how to do??.... I'm new at this so if you would be so kind as to step by step me here.. I'd appreciate it!!... Thanks Doug

the page html can be found by right clicking on any blank area of the page and selecting "page HTML..."
