Thread: Need an image...

I can't seem to make an image a certian color... So, if you guys could make it for me, that would be great... I need it to be a gif, transparent background... Now, think about a circle in a square... You know the space that the circle doesn't take up, that is round? I need that space. I need that space to be
Red: 135
Green: 1
Blue: 1

And the rest to be transparent... It doesn't have to be a gif, but it would be nice. :)

I am picturing a box with a hole in the middle? Am I close?

or something like that ... (not a great circle though, lol)

You need to use the url of the image and insert via the image box (the one with the mountain figure ...)

Just like this, this is your image

im confused, i don't see any box I need to use for images...

No .... when you go in to respond to a post, the toolbar above, has a yellow small box that appears to look like a mountain, you click that, and a pop up will open for which you must apply the full url of the image, found by right clicking on the image and clicking properties (for that you already knew I am sure ...)

I see the insert image icon as I am typing this, just along the same place as you would click the B for bold, I for Italics, but further over to the right, more than half way ...

Do you see it? If you hold your mouse over it, it will say insert image

W0W, I do not have this...is this becaus the "key" box at the bottom of the page says HTML off ??? I do not have any of those choices, but I do see the "Need and image...." err wait thats this thread....well i dunno..i always have trouble with form codes.

hmmmm .... go into your options ... up at the top of the forum, quick links, go in there ... go to options, down the very bottom ... see if you are in standard mode or enhanced interface ... full wysiwyg editing .... i think that is what you want it to say ... go have a look there and see ....

down at the bottom of the page, this is what mine says

yeah i changed to the enhanced wysiwyg editor..but my sites hotlink is disabled and the image still will not show

Okay. ... I know someone else that this happened to then, submit a support ticket and they will fix it for you, that is what they had to do ....

And if you would like a copy of the photoshop file to keep as a reference or whatever just ask. But don't ask what I did, because I had that pic bouncing through so many programs all at once, I just grabbed the one that blended correctly.


I'm glad it was what you were looking for. Here is a trick, when you have a color with Red=1, Blue=1,......x.. to get just the right look, if you are using transparency, tweak the gamma correction settings(in Photoshop) by either dropping it's setting or the blue/red doubling amounts used in gamma correction to 0.

Where do I start? First I don't have a website or a domain name. I need one as I am needing to adv. using my own images and art drawings that I have for a card game I have invented and will have it published soon.
