Thread: The pictures on my picture page needs label

my picture page is a collage of pictures...
is there a way, that when the scroll arrow goes over each seperate picture, the name of that picture can appear?
i want the people to be able to see the name of the picture as they see it..
any ideas if we cannot do that?

Hi Paul ....

Nice Pictures .... what you would like to do is "alt text" your pictures ....

this can be done by

double clicking each picture, and writing your few words about each in the alternate text line of the pop up box that will appear .... this way when the mouse is held over the image, those words will display ....

Your collage is terrific, it's a little long loading though ... I believe you can reduce the kbs of the images further yet and still maintain their quality

Try this on line image optimizer ....

You simply upload your photo, and 6 or 7 choices will be presented to you, showing the new kbs of each, the % saved and will also show the quality of the image you will see with each savings ....

LadyEye's link suggestion for optimizing your pictures is very good - she sent me to it to and it was great - i have broadband and the page took forever to load.

1. Check your spelling

2. Center your photos in your web page.

Can I resize my video to make it smaller in size?

and thank you guys all for your inputs... and i do have bad spelling,, but its on purpose sometimes.
