Hi Guys...am not a current Voda Host customer YET so cannot describe my URL etc. Am a newbie to the Web site game and am wondering how to offer pictures on my Site that automatically change ? they flash through different pics. How would I go about this...many thanks for response...Manda

Hi, Manda! (That's what my Mum calls me! Lol)

A simple way to achieve this is to use the banner rotator feature in Blue Voda. It allows control of the speed of rotation and you can use images of any size. This kind of effect can also be achieved using Flash but that's a lot more in depth and requires knowledge of Flash or a downloaded 'gallery' which usually carries some form of advertising.

Hi Liz, Thanking you so much for that Link. Have used my first few Slideshows from it!
N.b. Have had an Issue with placement on my web pages...not sure if this will rectify itself when go Live, but in Preview state, the slideshows location is in a different place to where I in fact did place the html window on page. Whats even more bemusing is it also seems to have confused other objects placed on page. It wont allow me to display a text window where I have it placed on page. It displays this text far removed from where I did in fact place it.
Hopefully this all makes sense....smiles. I will publish this page shortly and have a fiddle to get things right.
Once I have my Site up and running will post link for you all to see...aaaahh! Keep tuned over the next few weeks.....

yeah it is alittle tricky getting it to sit where you want. I just messed with it until I got it set - - - preview, move - preview, move - preview, move, until it was right.
It didn't mess with my text, though, and once I got it set it sure looked great. Check on the size of your text boxes, could be extra space on top or bottom that is 'hitting' the box where your album is sitting?
