Thread: creating a flash file

Hi there.
I am new to this...I am creating a website for my photography business.
I would like to insert a flash slideshow to use as my "galleries".
How do I do this? Do I need to purchase software? I would prefer not to have to purchase anything to accomplish this.
Any suggestions to get a slideshow presentation in there?

I use one that I found on the web - it's free and allows you to choose from many formats. You can see mine working here. It's from this site.

There are lots available on the web and I'm sure if you Google 'Free flash slideshow' or something similar you will get lots of results.

how did you insert the slideshow into bluevoda?
Did you save it as a swf file? So that you could put it in as a "flash macromedia" file?

The site creates the html code for you which you just insert into an HTML box in your BlueVoda page.

I cheated and inserted a transparent box with a wide border over the top of the slide show. This looks better and hides the advertising.

I tried to copy and paste the code...did not work.

Nevermind...it is there...just had to open a browser to see the sample page

I don't like how it says...
slide.com and get your own and view all images underneath the slideshow...any way to get rid of that?
