Easy Fun Web Picture Effects For All

Have you ever looked at one of your site's pictures and had the feeling it's letting the team down???

I have put a collection of easy picture manipulations and effects together, accompany by a brief 'How To' section http://www.addotours.com/picture_effects.html

Great info Playitbybeer ... number 3 the out of bounds technique I am dying to learn ... I am into dogs and am creating a new site for my new business ... I have this idea and this is somehthing I really want to do for the front page ... still got to find the right shot ...

Although you have some brief intructions can you help me with mroe so I can learn how to do it? I have downloaded GIMP ....

Hey whiteshepherd,

I was given a Mac G5 for some beer packaging and design work I did, a present from a design studio full of top software. I had a brief look at gimp (can't remember it now) and seem to remember it being similar to Coreldraw.

I'll be on the PC until the wee hours so I'll post a more detailed 'how to' later, I'm hoping that coreldraw is similar enough to gimp to follow the pictures because this is an effective and easy effect...

Wow thanks a lot - can't wait to try some of these i have photoshop elements and know it does a lot of things just haven't bothered to learn

I mentioned that your subject should be moving or facing either left or right, you can use a front-on subject but it is not as effective.(as seen here)
