Thread: Metallic colors?

Hi There! Anyone know if it's possible to use metallic looking colors on our sites? Say silver for example? Thanks!

Sure can Debi, if you can get the color code along with the RGB #'s you can do so ... but good luck with that, lol ...

You might instead consider finding a s**** piece (I call it, like a little s**** of material, lol) and using it, inserting it as an image and resizing for what you need, seems to work better, then you get the shimmer, creating the shimmer of silver requires gradients and more, you might find what you can get is dull looking compared to what you want ... or if you could make what you want on your site in an imaging program using gradients, backgrounds, etc...
