my profile picture did not upload.. what could be the problem?

Maybe you did not submit it according to instructions?
Maybe the wrong size? Maybe the wrong format? Think it may be a connection issue?

When it doesn't publish it usually gives you a reason, as Vasili says. It is often size or type - that is, needs to be jpg or gif, - I think those are the only ones..
How big is the image, not just kbs but pixels?

Try uploading an avatar picture, and it will show in the forum posts
