Question Pics not showing up on some computers?

    Hi everyone:

This one I can't figure out!

With my computer at home, I can see the pictures on my site no problem. When I do previews, I can see my pictures no problem. When I'm at work, all my pictures show up blank with an "x" in them. I've got a few people I know that live around the world to send me screen shots of my site.......pictures show up no problem. I have someone in Germany emailing me that she cannot see my pictures, only the "x". It must be how the computer is setup, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Thank you

    Hi Chris:

It's not that there are problem pages. At home ALL my images show up, at work NONE of them show up, only the "x". I'm thinking it may be in the internet options setup??

Not sure what VH servers are. If that stands for Voda Host, then yes.

Please give us the url to your site, and let us have a look - If we can't see them it is hard to help figure out what the problem is..

    Hi Darrell.
All your images show up for me, in both IE7 and Firefox.

I have no idea why they do not show up for other viewers - sorry I can be of no help.

Hopefully some other person will come along with an answer for you.

Yep! all showing ok here as well.
Pages have a lot of side scroll? Have been set to 1200 & 800 to a 1000 would be the norm.

    Good luck.

Thanks guys................yes, I do know that you can see the pictures, I can see them on my computer at home, but at work I get an "x", THAT's what I need to figure out, why does it work fine on some computers and not on others.............what SETTINGS need to be applied on the computer so you DON"T get the "x", or is there a problem with the bluevoda program that is causing this.

No, not with Voda, or you wouldn't be able to see the images on the site online at all.
Go to your internet options in IE, or your control panel and delete your temp files and cookies - clean your cache, and that should do it, I think.

Hi, at work is there any security stopping external images showing or maybe its possible that permission has to be given to view. Browsers can be set up for text view only. This also stops employees visiting sites they shouldn't be.
The other thing worth checking is that you have not turned on the hot link protection in your cpanel. This may stop the images as well.

    Only an idea.
