Hi folks, I am trying to provide title boxes with different colours in as can be seen at this website http://www.saga.co.za/3/home (UPCOMING EVENTS) I can use the shape option but that would require the use of a combination of shapes to create one object. In creating an image would the proportions remain the same? I would be truly be indebted to you if you could advise me to a simpler method?          |

Hi Rob You can make a shape and copy it.. This will create copies of the same size - place each copy on page and then change the color of each as you wish.. You can also use text of different colors and place a transparent shape over the text. Then use that transparent shape to link. Hope that helps… Doug |

Hi Doug, Thank you for the reply. I can use shape to create the effect of having two colours and this would require the use of three shapes to get the desired effect. I am hoping that thier is perhaps a shorter and less time consuming method amongst all the clever folk here. Thanks again |

These are not shapes. It is one single image used as a background for a css list (li)

Hi George, Thanks for your reply. AM I correct then in saying I could create an image and do the same, or is their a way to get the same final result but changing the colour? |

You can create an image ot use shapes, whatever you like. It's up to you if you go this way.

The css method is FAR better. There are lots of tutorial regarding css on the web, just Googole it for "CSS Tutorials"
