    Default videofiles will not play

I am trying to link videofiles on my website. I have placed them on the ftp server. I tried to put an image on my site, and then link it to a videofile. It did not work.

I have tried several ways of linking, and just one of my videofiles is actually downloading. I did not get it to play though.

    How is that possible?

Is there any way I can put .flv files on voda websites?

don't know if you still are looking for help, but here goes. yes you can put any type of video on voda. that is the main reason i deal with blue voda. you have icons/tools on the left side of you website builder. you use the tool flash- has a f on it - drag it to the page, make it any size, double click on it and a browse box appears, find the file in your hard drive and import it. save the page and publish it and the movie will play easily. you can see many examples of this on my site:

flv files will not play though the bv players, you will have to convert and run though a standalone flash player.

    Hi,

After experimenting with a number of methods BV provides I've come to the conclusion that the only foolproof way is YOUTUBE. It's fairly easy to do and it will play on everybody's computer.
If you need the instructions, let me know - the BV Tutorial is not quite sufficient, unless you're a webmaster.
In any case, first you got to get a YOUTUBE account and upload your videos. (Conversly, you can use some of the millions of vids running on YOutube).
If you want to start, waste no time, go to Google - youtube.com and create an account.
Also, you're gonna have to do some converting. If need help, let me know.
