Exclamation How does the image map button work?

I am trying to take a photoshop banner and use portions of it to link to other pages. Will image map work and exactly how do I accomplish that? The site I am redoing is www.speedycleanersonline.com.

It's Private Thender again. I used the image map tool to do some work but when I preview in the browser, it didn't even come close to what i was trying to get done. I am making a menu in photoshop and trying to hotspot the nav buttons. Better ideas?

Hi, you can just place a shape over the buttons, make it transparent & add a url link.

Thanks for the info Chris. I made it that far but when i preview the hotspots, they are barely accessible to click. Breakdown: I create a box in photoshop and added text in BlueVoda over that box. I want to add the text in photoshop but before I do that work, I wanted to see how well the hotspots worked. I aligned the hotspots evenly from the left and width equal, height was equal for all and then I created a descending order for the boxes - 5 in all. The problem came when i previewed. The hotspots were not over the menu titles and were very small. HELP!!!

Hi, i don't think you can add text over the image & then use the hot spot to link on the BV text. The program is placing the hot spot over the image & you are placing the text on top of this & covering up the hot spot link that is now underneath the BV text.
You will need to place the text on the image in photo shop & then add the hot spot. Or just place a shape over the text & click the transparency button & add the link to this shape.
