Default spot light effect

is there a method in bv/10 to make a spot light effect when one mouses over a picture so that the picture is highlighted.

But worth remembering that a lot of these effects wont work with all browsers.

the effect is not what i was looking for what i think i want is when you click on a picture it gets a ring or halo effect that shows which pic you are currentky looking at.

Hi,

You have to use a photo editor like Adobe Photoshop
You can render the lighting effects using the Filter options.

After you have rendered the lighting effect, re-save your
your photo.

yes i can use photo shop to do spotligh effects, but what i want to do ,ie if the picture has a fram around it whe you pass your mouse over the frame would glow or change color, like when you check on a link.

Have a look at jalbum or porta to get the effects you are looking for. These are picture display programs that have many "skins" or templates to choose from that will display your pictures very nice.

Go to the porta link and the example on the first page -Example page using SimpleViewer, is exactly what you are discribing.

Otherwise, you would have to do a lot of coding to get the effect you are trying for.

you may have to use flash to get what your are looking for. i don't know any other way.
