    Default Are my graphics to heavy?

    Some of my customers say my website loads to slow,but they have
    phone modems.What do you think? Do i need to change the site.

    Page loads are always predicated upon the type of connection used, and is never something you as a Publisher can guarantee to visitors: that is why you must always try to "optimize" your website as much as possible, to organically improve the overall visitor experience (and to anticipate the spectrum of visitor technologies).

    Thank you, What I guess Iam trying to say is:do i have to much content
    on my home page,would this cause the slow load.

    Hi, your home page is over 5000kb & should be looking for nearer 2-300 kb for web use & to please all.

    By the way, how do you find out the kb's size of a webpage?

    To find out the size of a webpage just hit file then properties it will show.

    I would use a program called pixresizer on all your images then insert the resized photos in the same place as your larger files (remove the large ones first)

    If you look under tools in the tool bar look at page weight it will give the weight of the page and weight of the images and how long it will take to publish that page it very useful. Here is a link for the pix resizer

    Main BV menu>Tools>Page weight.
