Thread: Gallery pop-ups not showing in Internet Explorer.

Hello,
I'm in the process of re-building an existing website and wanted to add a photo gallery on a couple of pages..
I'm using a testpage to try out some ideas for now before I go ahead with the full re-build.

I want the thumbnail gallery images to open as a pop-up when clicked.
When I load the testpage in Firefox 3.5 everything is working as it should but when I try it in Internet Explorer 8 the pop-ups show the error message below..

Any ideas as to how I can solve this problem?..Something simple I missed maybe or is it a bug with the gallery itself?.. Thanks..

"403 ForbiddenForbidden

Does anyone have any info on this matter?
The gallery will be useless to me unless I can fix this.. :(

You have the thumbnail and the popup using the same image. You need two different images for this i believe.

Hi Karen and thanks for the reply.

In the photo gallery properties there isn't any way of setting up the use of two sets of images.The thumbnails are created from the main images automatically.

In any case it works perfectly in Firefox so it just seems to be a compatibility problem with Internet Explorer..

I'm hoping BlueVoda 11 will fix the problem but I don't want to use 11 until its out of beta..
If that doesn't work I guess I'll have to choose another way to display the images.. :(

I have no problem viewing your page using Internet Explorer.

The images still aren't showing for me here... Are you using Version 8 of IE?

i can see the images .. its when you CLICK one to see the larger view that theres an issue.

Hi Karen, yes that's the issue in IE...
I presumed zuriatman had clicked on the images but maybe he didn't..

Could you confirm that zuriatman please?

I get the error in IE 7 as well
