    Default Cropping Images

    Hello,

I've just begun creating a webpage and I'm using a stock image as my header. Is there any way to crop the image to make it oval-shaped? I've tried to play around with the image tools, but to no avail.

Thanks in advance for the help.

u can use the shape tool !

    1. just add shape
    2. doule click it
    3. where it says gradient cick on it and choose image instead
    4. browse 4 ur image
    5. when inserted choose streched instead of tiled
    6. choose the shape u want and if u want a border or shadow etc.

ok not sure y that is !

just had a look im on blue voda eleven and i cant remember how the bv 10 did it but here on 11 u have to select the box where it says enable shadow !

as for the kind of setting i have found that 4 myself an ofset of 20 and 20 works best then depending on the background colour of ur page select the colour of the shadow that makes it look good against the background !

i most cases making it anti alias akes it even better although this funktion isnt on bv 11 as i just saw !

so i guess its the blur or other option then !!

You cant crop any image in a computer other than a square or rectangle.
When editing the photo, paste onto a transparent background so the square or rectangle shape of the actual image will not be seen. Only the oval shape image will be seen.

However when positioning in BV, you will still have to give allowance for the acutal rectangular shape of the oval image.
