Thread: windows movie maker clip not working in firefox

hi guys
Firstly can I thank everyone on these forums for the enormous help you have given me already. My website is about finished and every single obstacle I encountered (and there were many!) it seems someone else has already had so I manage to overcome them with the help of the solutions posted here.

I'm stumped with this one though, I started with a rotating ad banner but I wanted the images with fade transitions so I followed the advice on the forums and made it into a clip in Windows Movie Maker. It works brilliantly in explorer but Firefox keeps asking me to install a plug in. I've done that several times but it still keeps asking and won't show the clip. I don't know anyone else with Firefox so I don't know if it's my computer or my website.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks for the prompt reply - that poses a bit of a problem, I'm doing the site for my daughter who will be setting up in direct competition with her current employer. Until she finishes with them it would be unethical to do anything to promote her new business so I've passworded the site, we don't want it to be in any way public yet.

Could I maybe email you the login for the page so you could take a look?

most likely you are viewing a cached page.. hit f5 while loading the page.
