Thread: problem with lightbox

hello voda community
i have a problem with the lightbox here is my url www.northlondonriderz.co.uk you will see my model "fransesca" when i click on her picture it opens up wrong?......before a decided to re-design the site the lightbox pictures used to open in front of the website. can anyone shed some light on what could be the problem

i have now added more pictures in the lightbox to look for changes but nothing....still does not open correctly the pictures do not go on to the next and so on which they did before....i also resized them but no difference :(

just quickly tried my lightbox & everything worked just fine ;) see here
but...normally, you click on the lightbox icon - select a number of images - click OK & away you go. What I see with your set-up is almost like an iframe thing, where you have a link from the thumb to a larger image - eg: what I did here
maybe have to start afresh with one or the other??

Delete the light box & save page. Then reinsert a new light box again, save & republish. Would imagine that one of the JS OR CSS files hasn't uploaded correctly.

well i have done tried everything and still the lightbox is not opening the pictures as it should be...i have deleted my index page the lightbox and started again this only happened when i upgraded to voda 11 since then the lightbox has not worked. here is my url www.northlondonriderz.co.uk this is my new home page.

Have you tried fully un-installing the BV program & re-downloading BV again. But before you do this have you tried publishing a test page with just a few images in the light box, with nothing else on the page to see if it works.

yes i have and still the same i think it will be best to download bv again to see if the lightbox sets itself. all i can think of bv did not download properly i will try again and let you know the outcome

ok i un-installed bluevoda then reinstalled the lightbox has not changed on the home page but in my events page it works? now i'm completely confused...any ideas on what the hell could be wrong i've ripped all my hair out and now bald here is my url for the events page http://www.northlondonriderz.co.uk/events.html it may take a while to load on older pcs

plus need to resize the pics to get them to load faster

Its got to be one of the added scripts that you have on the same page.
It might be something to do with the "Read i2.ytimg.com" on your page that is something to do with you tube i beleave.
Just a case of eliminating the other scripts one at a time & testing.
