Thread: Problem with graphics and pics

Hi,

I took my website (www.greenandgoldsafaris.com) offline for a few weeks by transferring the pages from the public html directory to the ftp one (in cpanel). I've just put all the pages back to the public html directory and for some reason none of the pictures or graphs appear online, either on firefox or with IE.

Any ideas why this could be?!

Adri - you need to check the paths from where you uploaded your images. If you've moved any of them from their original location you will need to either re-upload them, or move them back to where they were.............if you see what I mean? :)

Might also be worth checking your image protection in C/Panel is not stopping the images. (Turn off or add the site)

Ok thanks a lot for your help. My main problem now is that a lightbox on my page www.greenandgoldsafaris.com/picture_gallery.html isn't working: if I click on a picture I just open a page with the original size of the pic, instead of opening the lightbox. Any idea why this could be?

Why not just republish?

Simply because I'm away from home for 4 months and don't have access to the computer that has the pages! :)

Well i think your website not having any problem. You just check out the C panel at once. You can find the folder of the picture and find is it exist or not.
