    Default publishing pages

i'm not sure if i'm in the right topic section for this question. if i'm not im sorry i'll repost it in the proper one if someone lets me know which one.

ok here we go, my question regards to publishing pages.
This is my fifth website with BV that i am making so publishing pages is not new to me. I'm building a website for a online retail company for bowling products. I have created many pages and published them and looked at them online and they look great. When i go back to that page it is completely different infact its like all the images are different sizes and all over the place and not in there proper place when I published them. So i would republish the page and it would look great. Then i go back an hour later and the same thing.

    What does this mean?

    thank you guys

Do you size the images outside BV or do you use the BV sizing handles?

mostly with gimp because its better then the pic resizer that comes with BV. but the entire page would be completely all over the place. I'm publishing some pages now. If one comes up that is how i'm describing then i'll post the link in here.

Ok I've got a sneaky feeling some shapes/ images are sharing the same name hence all the distortion

Go to tools> options> publish tab - check the box 'use page name for image prefix'

Republish and see if that solves it

Might be a good idea, especially if you have been copying and pasting from page to page.

Well try not to copy and paste shapes from page when you intend to edit the pasted one. Always instert a new ones. Basically for all images/shapes that are different should have their own unique name - if that makes sense.

Glad you got it working, there's a Clint Eastwood film on now so I'm signing off.

    All the best
