Can you change multiple .jpg files at the same time?
Is it a wise thing to use only .jpg images to if your loading is o.k. as is?

JPG formatting is preferred for Photos, and GIF for static graphic images or documents.

You can format JPG's according to whatever editor you are using allows.
Remember to size and resize your JPG's using an editor, NOT by manipulating them (pulling/stretching them to different sizes by the corners) in Blue Voda.....this does nothing to change the size of the file, which is the variable that determines load speed.

I would second General Naval's advice though....slow down a bit. I know you are under the gun, but rushing only allows the opportunity to miss those little tidbits that cause so much pain having to go back and do things over....
