Can anyone tell me why my hyperlink ad on one site works fine but on the other site it will not appear where I want it? As Seen on TV site----the ad link is below the nav bar. Where I want it. Enjoy the Birds site----the same link appears way below the bottom of the page. I will put it back so you can see it if you need to. Right now I have it removed. I had some problems earlier with the Authorize.Net seal but when I added it to the finished pages it behaved itself. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Deet http://www.h-denterprises.com http://www.enjoythebirds.com |

hmmm.... probably a good idea to put it back on the birds site so that we can see the problem ... not sure, but it might be a case that another element on the page is forcing it out of position ... I take it it is the same size ad?

By a quick glance, I'll say it's got to be from an html tag that is not closed properly. I suggest you go through all your html elements you've added - and make sure each are completely coded correctly - especially look for the > tag at the end. And I also suggest you think about your purpose with these ads. Do you want people to buy from you or your competitors? Cuz you are sending them diriectly to your competitors from your own home page.

Look closely at all the opening and closing tags. For example if you have <div> it needs a </div> every opening tag needs a closing tag to match it and vice versa. For example an h1 tag would have <h1>Headline Here</h1> or it might have <h1><font>Headline here</font></h1> That's very simplified, but every tag needs to have both the complete opening tag and closing - with the <> for opening and the </> for closing. One of those missing will cause things out of sync. If you want, you could send me the page in bv via email and I'll take a look at it.
