How do I create a hyperlink to a Microsoft Word (or any other windows application) from the navigation bar object? I specified file://C:\Program Files\Microsoft Of...ice12\word.exe and left the target field blank. I get a windows message telling me that Windows can not access the device, path or file and that I may not have permission to open the file. I have permission and the device, path and file exist.

Once published on the internet .. do you want everyone to have access to your computer? Nope, does every one have the same url to that file ... no.. you need to upload that file and link to it via your site. Karen
