Default link to another site

How do I build in a link to another website. I have a html link eg: A.../A. Do I have put it in the html page? I have tried but can see it when it is uploaded. IS there a way to build it in per drag drop?

thanks

To link to another site is pretty much the same as linking to page within your own site.

The only difference is the address (url)

Put in the address (url) you want to link to and set target to _blank so it opens it opens in a new page.

The addresses in my signature will take you to my sites in a similar way.

.... also, after reading your post again..

Using BV. To create a text link, Use insert text tool, then type in your text. Highlight it and then use the hyperlink tool to add the address etc, as I've mentioned.

You can also do it with images.

Thanks a lot for the advice. it wasnt too hard. I managed to hyerlink a text, so that by clicking on it, it opens at the right website.

What about an "html" link? How can I put that on my site? Thanks !

what I have is a html text "A....../A" . It isnt a "text" or a picture, so it doesnt work as in the video. There must be another way to insert a html text. I tried to insert it in the "html" page, but it didnt show on the drag and drop page and didnt show onlöine when uploaded.

As Andy says YES.

Once I got my linked pages and my index uploaded I still had problems:
1) the first was because I changed my url address and had to change all the buttons and links to the new one !!
2) The second problem was that I saved pages with a Capital Letter, but wrote the name of the page on ther link with a SMALL letter
3) an third problem was that I didnt always have the ".html" ending ! Sometimes I wrote "Hmtl" by accident or had soemthing else.

These are just small pitfalls that come along for the Amateur page builder
