Default popups and navigation bars

I posted this question yesterday in the general design issues, but realised it's probably in the wrong place to get a reply. Sorry for the duplication!

I'm trying to use a navigation bar so that when I mouse over a word in the menu a popup occurs for the duration of the mouse over and then dissappears. ie so you dont have to manually close the popup. I can't see how to do this.
Any help please?

Thanks Chris,

Thats the kind of thing I had in mind, but not sure how I can get a text menu or other text to produce a photo popup.

Do you have any more ideas?
They need to be simple!

This is what you are asking for >> http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...agetooltip.htm

(This also has the option to add text along with the image, if you desire)

I've pretty much got it working. So now I have a couple of questions......

1) How can't see how to change the menubar font? I seem to be stuck with underlined 'Roman', or, if I get rid of that from the HTML code, is it possible to use the BV textmenu instead?

2) Is there some way to slow the popups down? To make them 'pop up' more err.............gracefully?

multitaskinman, have you figured this one out yet? I want to do a simialr thing. Go to www.abellrc.com/abellrchome.html / on the navigation menu highlight the "Coming Soon" then click on the "EMP Brushless Motors" Link. The product info page displays in a popup window, I would like the popup window to close when the "Shop EMP Motors" button is clicked. Anyone got any ideas?
