hyperlinking assistance

select text>copy>select hyperlink button>link type>http:>url>paste

making sure http:// and www. are included

save page as>publish

publishing says successful, page changes on the web

url's will not redirect

hmmm, BV 10.12?

can admin repost if wrong forum to more specific forum

Tried all again WITH the link button and text and
it works for me.........

After you have saved
select the text again and check the link through the button again...sometimes it does not take or change after the save..........

david, the hyperlink button i referred to is the one in the tool bar with the globe and chain, not a button on my page, sorry about that.
i resolved the problem though

i separated the url text from the text field i had it in then hyperlinked it
saved and published, now it redirects to the web page

i'm pretty sure in BV 9 i could select part of the text within a text field and hyperlink it

can you try hyperlinking part of the text in a text field and see if it works when published ?

The answer was yes, you could/can select part of a field and link it.....

Oh.........its always the little things that trip us up....oh boy charlie....lol
