Good afternoon all. I am trying to make a pdf file available for download on my company's website. I've searched through the tutorials and through the forums with little success. Is there a step-by-step tutorial for the complete idiot (me) or any other resources to make this happen? Thanks... Kathleen www.capitolhealthnetwork.org |

Just UPLOAD the .pdf file to your server(use FTP or your file manager) and then provide a link to the .pdf file. |

Thanks for responding. I know how to hyperlink, but I've never link to anything in my file manager. Do I just use my domain name and then the name of the document once I've uploaded it to the public directory? Any guidance would be appreciated. I'm a total newbie at this. Thanks.

Right. www dot yoursite dot com/yourfile.pdf (you know what I mean). That's assuming you've placed your pdf file in your public_html folder. If you have it on a different page it would look like this: www dot yoursite dot com/yourotherpage.html/yourfile.pdf When someone clicks on the link, a window will pop up and the person can look at or save the pdf file. |
