I disobeyed the old maxim "If it works don't fix it" I made some changes to both the index page of my site and one other page. The index site now will not link to any other, although all the other pages link back to the index page as they always have. I have not changed the link commands on the index page and they appear unchanged in their path commands. The only real; change I made to the index page was removal of the music file (which didn't work with Google chrome anyway) The index page does not link either in preview or on the web btw. Any help gratefully received jabcheq****.com johnabale.com |

Still struggling with this. If I try to open a link in browser the top bar displays file:///C:/DOCUME~1/ADMINI~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/preview/preview.html If that helps anyone more than it helps me :) John |

That's your person computer where your file is sitting. Folks here would need to know your URL. If you remember, please give us a description of what changes you made to your index file that it's not working now and what's that other page you made changes in. |

my url is johnabale.com Linked to the index page is a page called "comment" to which I added a piece of writing. As I said, I removed the windows media player from the index page, and also a music file which it was supposed to play on entry (but didn't). Oddly it played opening the page with I.E but not with Google Chrome. I suspect that somehow this has glitched the index page links, because the links work back to the index page in preview browser, even from the page I changed. |

Your links are working perfect for me except for 'Straws in The Wind' because the link path you gave the button has space before 'wind'. Go to your button and give it the appropriate link path.
