I'm sure this question has been asked numerous times before, but I cannot find the answer. I have a contact button and obviously desire to link it to my email address. Exactly what URL do I need to type in to complete this task? What, if any, extension do I use once the URL line is complete?          |

I've published my website pages and "surprisingly" everything looks and works well, except for a few minor text hilighting problems. I can fix them and re-publish those pages. My only major problem now is still the email link. I have used the text "Contact Us" on several pages that I published and linked that text to my email address. I used the (mailto:) as you suggested, but I still get a 404 error message. I typed: mailto:dave@riverbarktreasures.com in the link. Where am I going wrong? Also, when selecting a target on the link page for my email account, should I choose popup window or blank or something more appropriate? Thanks dchild |

You shouldnt chose any.. it should OPEN THEIR EMAIL . How about a LINK to the pages or page in question? When i click the link above my email opens just fine. Karen

Karen Mac If you vould view the following page and see if the "Contact Us" button or the email text operates OK.................. http://www.riverbarktreasures.com My computer has limited usage so currently I cannot upload or re-publish any of the pages. I corrected the text hilighting problems and also resized the thumbnails so hopefully when I can get back to republish those small problems will be gone. Right now I'm more concerned about the email link so customers can contact me. I was pleasantly surprised that I've done as well at establishing a website with no experience. It speaks highly of BlueVoda. Thanks again dchild |
