Thread: 20% in address

Anyone ,
When I tried to link two pages it showed the link I was trying to test couldn't be found, and a 404 error, listed at tabasco_itinerary1.html, which is the correct link. In the address bar it shows as tabasco_20%itinerary1.html. When the 20% is deleted it finds the link, why? How do I fix the link?

The 20% is automatically put in when the browser detects a space. That is why it is necessary to but an underscore between seperated words. Is there a space between the underscore and itinerary1 ?

Hi Andy,
No there is no space. it is ...itinerary1.html. Thereis an anchor between tabasco_itinerary1.html, that is all. No spaces

Perhaps deleting and re-doing will fix?

Looked for the space and didn't see it, so I change the link to one word and published it. Working Thanks.Later I noticed another link and upon careful examination I did see the space so minute that it was hard to see, so Andy you were probably right. Thanks again guys.

Glad you finally saw it - that % is always a space somewhere.
