Thread: How do i know it works???

Im new to this so please bear with me!!!!

Iv starting to design my own site but i dont knw if it works?
Iv got some pics up in my gallery and i have tried to link them so that when you click on them it opens up on the same page. How do i know if this is working? Iv tried doing it useing the preview tool but wont work.

Same thing with my menus. If im at my home page and want to get to the gallery, how do i know its doing what im asking it to??

You must publish all pages that you want to link to in order to see if the link works.

I'm not sure why your preview button is not working.

How are you saving your pages ie your home page should be: index

Is your gallery on a seperate page and how have you named this.

I would go through the tutorials slowly to ensure you've got everything linked and named correctly. You could possibly look at trying to download the BV Web again but I would check the above first.

Ah!! I didnt realise you had to host them first!!! I thought you could preview the whole thing as it would work on the net before it is hosted!!!!

So basicly i cant test it properly untill i host it??? So how do i kow if the link are working the way they should????

Sorry, but they have to be published first. As far as I know the only way to see if your links are correct is for them to be on the "Net.
