Thread: linking help required

Hello, I am new here to the forum and to Voda. I purchased my Domain package Sunday and have been piddlein with it and have a few links set up but they are not working I dont know if I have done something wrong or maybe my site is just not up yet. Hi Betty

You have a few minimal things happening, easy enough to correct ...

For instance you've let the . out in a few areas ... and the www.

Your url for your domain should be

http://www.bettyswholesaleminimall.com

All your pages, with the exception of your index page should end with /theirname.html

So as an example ... you've named, saved and published your contact us page by the name of contactus (always use the name of your page you made and saved as, these things need to be identical, always)

the link should look like this

http://www.bettyswholesaleminimall.com/contactus.html

Always use small letters too.



So just go and check all and keep the standard format and you'll be on the road to recovery!!

Thank You so very much for your help. I did what you said and its still doing the same thing, or least let me say I think i did what you said. Maybe I need to go clean my glasses lol. Can you check again for me and tell me what I have messed up this time.lol Thanks

Well I went and cleaned my glasses so I can see all those little dots....and took something for my head and fixed me a cool refreshing drink. I am hoping to find out whats wrong now after I fixed or think I fixed my problem but guess I didnt cause its still doing the same ole darned thing hummmmmm, Please Help, lol http://www.bettyswholesaleminimall.com

Notice the uppercase 'A' and 'U'
You will have to either change the link properties to match the file.
Or, re-name the file and re-publish using lower case.
Either is ok, but It is always less problematic to always name the
pages with all lowercase.
(now if I can just remember to do that myself!)
