Thread: Previewing pages in Browser

I need help. I have created 3 pages using Bluevoda....I have hyperlinked one of the pages from an image on the index.html page, I have tried to preview it and make sure that the link is working , but when I click on the link after clicking the preview button, it does not go to the page that is supposed to be linked from it.....what do I do??

Hi, you will have to publish the pages for this to work.
Also not sure if you are naming the index page right. Don’t place any extensions on the pages, just the name. IE: index BV will add the html parts automaticly

Hi, you will need an account with Voda for hosting of your domain and publish through voda servers in order to see your webpage .. the linking does not work in preview mode ... nor does the code ...

You mean that unless I pay them fro web hosting, that there is no way that I can use the pages that I created??

I just paid another company to host this morning...if I would have known this I would have looked into this more.

yes, that is correct, Blue Voda is the software that you use to build your website and host it with Voda Hosting ... It's a great program to use isn't it ... we all love it ...

Once you purchase your account you should be all set up and running to be able to publish your website within 24-48 hours, providing approval for your payment is immediate. Paying by e-checks and other means takes longer to wait for approval of such ....

Oh yes, you can purchase your web hosting package and ask for the transfer of your domain at the same time ... or you can purchase your package and point your own domain to voda servers when you receive your welcome email. You would do this at the place where you now hold your domain name .... no need for telephone calls or anything ...

Yes, that is correct, and I am not sure where you are at, but you likely have control of your own domain name and would have an account where you can do your own pointing, if you do, you are in control, if not you would ask your current host to do this for you ...
