Default Linking with the navigation bar

    Hi,

I'm using your website builder and I have a question or two I need answering

    immediately.

On my homepage, I have selected the navigation bar. I have buttons such as

    "home" "Products" "contactus" etc....

When I click on the navigation bar properties in the general section I have

    included the following URLs -

    Home http://www.mywebsite.com/index.html

    about http://www.mywebsite.com/about.html

    contact us http://www.mywebsite.com/contactus.html

Now, inorder to have say my homepage link to my products page. Do I need to

create a separate page for products? If so, do I need to save the page as

"products". Do I then need to go to page properties on my products page and

give the title of the page a name "products"?

Can I then check if the pages are linked by prviewing the site?

This is what I have been doing now.... Am I going about it the right way?

Please let me know as soon as you can.

    Sean

Yes you are doing things the right way ...

Of course you will have to use your real domain name that you ordered with your voda hosting package in place of mywebsite ...

    all small letters, no spaces

name, save and publish the page the same as you want to recall it via a link ... the only thing different with naming, saving and publishing is that blue voda adds the .html for you ... you only apply that when typing the link, or in the case of typing it into the navigation bar ...

And you can apply any title to the page via the page properties, exactly .. here is where you can used spaces and capitals ..

You will also notice this is the area you can apply the metatags for each page, the keywords relevant to each page that you want the search engines to use to find your site ...

    Good work ...

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply back...

I was wondering also.... Can I preview my pages once I click the preview button? So I can check if the pages are all linking properly?

Do I have to buy hosting or domains before I can do this?

    Please let me know...

    Many thanks,

    Sean Byrne
