Thread: new to foru

while designing my site and trying to check my hyperlinks, to see if they are working, they keep takeing me to my old site ,which is hosted and live by another co.

do i have to publish site to see if links are working that isthe question.

Most likely yes.. you will have to publish to test the links. With that said, did you make a new domain when you registered? If you did, just make a subdomain there to test your store, but then you will have to go back and fix the links when you are set to move the domain server to voda.

To clarify further - as long as the other site is the live site - of course the links using those same names will go to the live page. If you work with a domain name not yet published and clicked on the links - you'd get page not found - as you can't try to find something on the web that you haven't yet published to the web.

Yes, you can use them with the editor or, use an html box to code them in. right click on your page properties to do general meta tags,

You need the title and description as a minimum. If you want those others you can do them as well. You can do a robots txt file if you want for the robots as you have that capabiity now.

you can do the basic ones, right click page properties, title , keywords, description... right click page html and add the others in the head.
