    Default text links

I am creating a site where I want to create a text menu but when links have been created the text is underlined. This is ugly; any way of getting rid of the underlining?

    Hi,

In text menu properties, select tab Style.

There you can edit existent styles or add new stiles that fit to what you want.

Any more help needed come back,

    Hi Susana,
Thanks; I was not using the text menu creator (just typing in plain text and linking to the appropriate pages. Now another question. I am not able to make the menu fill the space I want (i need considerable gaps between the words). The only way I can do this is create a separate menu for each word in my menu; please, please tell me I am wrong!).

Hi, you can create a link with normal text under styles in the same area as you place the url link.
With the other text menu, create the text & hit the sp,ac,e,r, bar about 5 times after the last letter to give you the gap on each one.

    Hi Godsent,

your first page should be named index (lowercase, no spaces).
You can name all other pages as you want to. If you need spaces, use underscore.

By the way, when you have a question, you should post your own threads, NOT USe others threads to place your own questions.
Besides, you may not get a response.

this is another alternative to linking text and using any text type or color you want to. you dont have to worry about spacing or anything. just put a transparent image over the text you want to link and then link the image as you would normally do. i did this for this site:

    hope this helps

There is a way to get rid of the underlining, but that only works or is useful, in certain appliactions. The underline is universally known to be a link. People know this and gravitate to those links. Just an FYI.

    But to remove the undrelining...........
    <A HREF="http://www.domain.com" STYLE="TEXT-DECORATION: NONE">Click here</A>
The only way to do this in BV is to open a html box and hard code each link as above.
Unless of course you are proficient in css and then you can modify it that way.

In your "Edit Hyperlink" window you can edit "Styles" to delete the underline, change colors, bold, Italic, etc.
