Default How do I have to save, for the right linking

    Hello,

I'm publishing my website and linking my pages.

It's works ok, when I publish the pages like:
    www.mysite.com/subject.html
    www.mysite.com/subject_subject1.html
    www.mysite.com/subject_subject2.html

But how do I have to save my pages, when I want

    www.mysite.com/subject/subject1.html in my browser?

(because i can't save files with a / in it)

    Thanks in advance!
    BS

You just save your page as subject1 & subject2 with nothing else & publish to your public_html.

And a link back to the 1st page will be http://www.mysite.com/subject1.html

Yes i understand what you mean.

But I want a slash in my browsers like:

    www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/newreply or
    www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/faq

The only way I know how to do it, is to save with a _ underscore.

So how do I have to save my pages, when i want to use / to distinguish different parts of the site?

    Thx in advance!
    BS

You do not add the slashes, they are part of the language used to locate a web page. For example your pages will be www . yoursite.com / pagename.html the slash tells your computer where to look on the internet, at yoursite on this page. The slashes will appear when you publish and link them together.

If you want something like your example:

    www.mysite.com/subject/subject1.html

The middle term "subject" is not a page that you save, it is a folder that you create. To do that, you connect via FTP Manager (under "Tools" in BV), connect so you see your public_http in the righthand pane, right click anywhere on the background of the pane. That brings up a small window that let's you name and create a new folder.

Back in BV, when you are ready to publish a page named subject1, you would publish it to public_http/subject (if that's the folder you created).
