Default Linking pages w/fixed menu bar

Now I've finally gotten my site up (www.barbarajamesyoga.com), but I have two questions about moving from page to page:

    1) I can click on each navigation button from my home/index page and the buttons correctly take me to my destination, but I cannot get back to home with the Home button. I get a 404 error message. I have to use the tabs at the top of the page. Which brings me to my second question.

2 ) Why does my computer open a new tab when I click on each navigation button moving from page to page? The tabs are ok and I can get back and forth from page to page using them, but I'd rather not have them.

    I'd appreciate any insight here.

    Thank you.

1.)Your link back to your home page is incorrect, you have it going to a page called home (which does not exist) change the link to http://www.barbarajamesyoga.com/
2.) You have all links set up to open in a new window, you need to change the target area so that it is empty (nothing in it).

Re: #1...ok thanks. I will try.
Re: #2--would the correct target, then, be "_self"?
    Thanks,

Hi again David. I got rid of the tabs--yea! But now I get the 404 message on my About Me page. www.barbarajamesyoga.com

I'd appreciate one more look at it.

You cannot link to a page that doesn't exist?

    http://www.barbarajamesyoga.com/aboutme.html

If you call your page 'aboutme' then you link to 'aboutme' not about_me.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

I figured it out!!!!!! I had named the page "aboutme" and the link said "about_me." Added and saved the page with the underscore and it worked!!!!

    Thanks for your help.
